Newborn Kittens

Last night when we were getting ready for bed and my brother saw a black cat outside one of our guest bedroom windows. When he went to go see her she got scared of him and ran away. After that, we noticed two little black and white kittens crawling around helplessly mewing right outside the bedroom window. Me my mom and my brother had no idea what to do because the mom ran away. We put out a bowl of cat food out for the mama cat to eat. We kept checking on the kittens to see if the mom would come back but she didn't. We had to go to bed by now and we took one last look to see if she was there but she wasn't. We all had our fingers crossed that she would be back in the morning.
